Beam Me Up Spring, Early Morning, about 45 minutes before sunrise (5/8/21, 4:43 AM) This iconic lighthouse sits atop a coastal bluff overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean. Due to coastal erosion, it was moved to its current location in 1996 from its previous location closer to the eroding cliff. I have photographed this lighthouse over a hundred times and each time it’s different! The combination of clouds and humidity, as well as ambient light affects the prominence of the light rays. This particular morning, all three came together to give an ethereal look to the rays.
